Historical Appalachian True Crime Stories

Murder, Moonshine, Manhunts

From an innocent man sent to the gallows in 1808 to the end of the line for a ruthless and random killer in 2004, this book chronicles frantic fugitives, historic heists, and mean-spirited moonshiners in the Appalachian Highlands.

Welcome to the World of True Crime

A place where fact is often stranger—and more chilling—than fiction. I explore real-life cases and strive to bring clarity, context, and narrative power to the dark corners of human behavior. If you’re fascinated by justice, mystery, and the complex people caught in between, you’re in the right place.

Works in Progress

“I see the theme of these stories as a struggle for justice between imperfect people on both sides of the law.

“Part of what makes a story compelling is the twists and turns between the crime, the trial, and the sentence.”
